Terms of Service

These terms apply to tutoring services from BestStep Tutoring ("BestStep," "we," "us") and to beststeptutoring.com. By requesting tutoring or buying sessions, you agree to them. Questions? Email BestStepTutoring@outlook.com.

Who can book

A parent or legal guardian books and manages tutoring for any student under 18. Students 18 or older may book for themselves.

Matching and scheduling

After you submit a request, the BestStep Tutor Matching Team selects a tutor for your student. The tutor then calls or texts you to schedule sessions. In-person sessions take place at your home or a public place you and your tutor agree on, within our service area. Zoom sessions are available anywhere.

Prices and payment

Current prices are listed on our pricing section. Payment is arranged directly when your tutor contacts you. We may change prices for future purchases, but not for packages you've already bought.

New-family discount

New families receive the discount shown on our website on their first package of 5 or 10 sessions. It's one per family, applies only to the family's first package purchase, and can't be combined with other offers. We may end or change this offer for future purchases at any time.

Packages

Unused package sessions expire 3 years after purchase.

Refunds

You can get a refund in two cases:

• Within 24 hours of purchase. Ask within 24 hours of buying a package or session, and we'll refund it in full.
• If we can't connect your family with a tutor. If we're unable to connect your family with a tutor, we'll refund every session you haven't used.

Outside these two cases, purchases aren't refundable. To ask for a refund, email BestStepTutoring@outlook.com. We refund the amount you actually paid, after any new-family discount.

Cancellations

Sessions canceled less than 24 hours before the start time count as a used session.

Zoom session recording

All Zoom sessions are recorded for the student's safety, with the consent of a parent or adult student. Recordings are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and deleted after 30 days.

Reviews

Reviews must come from a current or past BestStep family, written by a parent, guardian or adult student. We publish reviews only after verifying them, and we may decline reviews that we can't verify or that include personal details about others.

No guaranteed results

Tutoring can help students build skills and confidence, but we can't guarantee specific grades, test scores or outcomes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date at the top will change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
